NTx Launches New mRNA Production Service, Offering Faster and More Flexible Solutions

Latest News

Nature’s Toolbox (NTx), has introduced a new service called NTx Services. This service aims to streamline the production of high-quality mRNA using the company’s innovative NTxscribe® system, offering a quicker and more adaptable process compared to traditional methods.

NTxscribe, the backbone of the new service, uses a continuous flow in vitro transcription system that allows for the production of 50mg of mRNA in just an hour. This fast turnaround is expected to benefit researchers working on RNA-based vaccines and therapies by speeding up their development timelines.

NTx Services is also flexible, with the ability to scale production from small quantities to larger batches, making it suitable for a wide range of projects. According to NTx’s President and CEO, Dr. James Coffin, the goal is to make mRNA manufacturing more accessible, cost-effective, and sustainable. He points out that the system not only reduces costs but also avoids the harmful byproducts typical of older production methods.

In terms of pricing, NTx Services is positioning itself as a more affordable option compared to other mRNA manufacturing services, offering competitive rates without compromising on quality.

While the commercial launch of the next-generation NTxscribe system is expected in early 2025, NTx Services is now providing access to its research-grade capabilities ahead of that release.
